Yields: 24-30 cookies | Prep Time: 30 minutes | Bake Time: 15 minutes

INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 12 oz milk or semi-sweet chocolate chunks

CREATE
- Preheat oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix sugar, brown sugar, salt, and melted butter until smooth.
- Mix in the eggs and vanilla until blended.
- Mix in the flour and baking soda; fold the batter over itself to fully mix in the dry ingredients. A rubber spatula will help with this.
- Fold in the chocolate chunks; chill the dough for 30 minutes. For a more toffee-like flavor, chill overnight. The longer it rests, the more flavor the cookies will have.
- Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Scoop the dough into balls, 1-2 inches circumference. An ice cream scoop is helpful if the dough is very hard. Place the dough on the cookie sheets and bake for 12-15 minutes. Make sure there is 2-4 inches between each, they will flatten and spread.
- Cool and enjoy!
