MIXED RED PEPPER RICE

ingredients

  • 1 cup instant white rice
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp red chili pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp parsley
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cilantro, minced
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • A dash of salt
  • 1 tbsp fresh basil, torn

  1. Add vegetable oil to cooked rice in a medium pot, mix and cook over low heat.
  2. Add bell pepper, green onion, cilantro, garlic, and torn basil. Then stir in remaining spices: red pepper flakes, parsley, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook over low heat for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Serve and enjoy. Goes good with lobster tail or crab cakes.
